MISSION

The ubiquitin-proteasome system regulates numerous biological pathways through selective degradation of unwanted proteins. Its defects lead to various diseases such as cancer, inflammation, and neurodegeneration. We aim to elucidate the mechanisms by which proteins are timely and efficiently ubiquitylated and degraded to achieve cellular health.
