ABOUT US

Our laboratory focuses on the following research topics utilizing synthetic organic chemistry: (1) Design and synthesis of organic molecules that target disease-related biomolecules; (2) Mode-of-action analysis of bioactive small molecules using synthetic probes; (3) Development of reactions and methodologies for the synthesis of drug-like molecules having novel skeletons and reactivities. We always welcome students and postdocs from abroad!

2020.05.13: Due to the declaration of a state of emergency in response to the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we are still unable to carry out research activities in our laboratory. Nevertheless, we are holding laboratory meetings and presentations by using an online system.
